You can hear his voice breaking a little bit while talking, and see how much not only the award but the game and recognition it's been getting means to him and the whole team. This man and this studio are true treasures in this industry, and in art in general. So much love ❤

Absolutely deserved. I'm so excited to see how the Max Payne remakes are going to turn out because of this. Other companies should take notes as to how good a game can be when devs are given freedom to do whatever they wanted and it turns out to be such a great game. So happy for Sam too!

It was sweet seeing him feeling emotional when giving the speech, and thanking the team. You can tell he was extremely touched over getting the award. While it wasn't given GOTY, the best narrative award and the chance to do Herald of Darkness live I feel was still so big.
