Absolutely!!! If you don't want to go out in the bad weather to get your food then you should at least tip more

At first I thought that, I thought bad weather would equal more money. Then I found out that that isn’t really true. The customers don’t care about the driver being out there driving their car in the shitty weather. If the customer is cheap, they’re usually always cheap. I’ve been doin this for years, if the weather is bad I just stay home. Odds are more likely that someone who doesn’t know how to drive in conditions is going to cause an accident and NOT that you’re going to make A LOT of money! Can’t even complete as many deliveries in that type of weather - so it’s a NO GO for me!

If the weather is bad basically more people order and less people drive. So supply decreases as demand increases which means I can pick and select my orders. I love it!

Most definitely! If it's nasty out, they better pay for it!

Here in SoCal the worst we get is rain, but absolutely — if there’s a major atmospheric river pummeling us and I’m able to make deliveries, you better believe I’ll be more selective.

I tend to do Spark more than any other platform when that’s going on because the number of Shop & Deliver orders goes up dramatically.

I drive in any weather but I'm not driving for doordash if it's snowing and roads are bad

In bad weather I don't take anything less than 10 dollars. I'm not risking my car and safety for non tipping scumbags

I def expect to make more when it's snowing. I'm in Cleveland, OH. Still gotta take into account the day of the week.

I usually make a lot more money when it snows in my area even though I increase my minimum and I am a lot more selective about the orders I take. I recently turned down a $78 Uber Eats order because it was going to a backwoods area during a snow storm. That's not enough money to risk getting my car stuck in the snow.

I expect to make more when it's snowing. Usually Doordash throws a peak pay when the weather is bad.

It ticks me off when most customers can't even tip on a nice warm evening. I definitely will not go out on a snowy freezing cold night for people that do not appreciate you!!!... Their food might just arrive eventually😂😂😂

I just don’t go out in bad where’s like that. I’m pretty petty I would never mess with peoples food or steal food but when I see $3 orders going 8 miles. My blood boils at doordash

Absolutely, but i find that most people are very generous in tipping out if app. I made a 32 tip fir just grabbing 2 cups of coffee and a little of 2 miles. That was the biggest tip ive ever gotten in my little town.

When there's bad weather I just stay home don't need the money that bad

If it’s snowing, I’m not accepting anything under $2.50 per mile. It’s also less drivers, increased demand so I’ll get those offers. I always make good money on snow days, particularly with Uber Eats.

Bad weather usually in my area is a good thing for payouts. I figure mostly parents don't want to go out so they order up for the family

The only thing I got more of during the rainy, snowy, slushy weather was extra wet feet.

I’m not leaving my driveway to deliver food for less than 20$ minimum per order, and at least 3$ per mile . Not worth wrecking my car and getting soaked and slipping in snow for Pennie’s

During our snow storm some weeks ago for 4 days I made the most money per shift since I was a new dasher just from most people being snowed in. Volume was high and dashers were scarce likely a lot of new dashers. Once the roads cleared it was right back to shit orders.
