I mean that's still seen as dressing lazily but laziness isn't quite as taboo here. It is, but not nearly as taboo as it is in the east. Like in the US people won't call you lazy for dressing like that, but they will think that.

I wish wearing PJs in public would go away lol. I graduated college in 2015, and it wasn't a thing back then. Leggings and oversized shirts were though.

Socks over leggings is a look! I’m living in South Korea now and it’s pretty popular here too. I feel like Japan loves on its own little fashion bubble. I remember when Japan had all those random trends that weren’t a thing in other countries like 森ガール、フェアリー lol
I wonder if there are still trends like that?
