My AirPods Pro went through the washer. I saw them at the bottom of the washer and got them out without putting them in the dryer. The left one’s volume was really low and the right one squealed when putting it in my ear and had no other audio. I tried a Water Eject shortcut and a couple other water eject videos.

I saw someone’s comment on here to literally suck the water out while the sound plays. That actually worked! Both AirPods now play at full volume and function correctly again.

I wanted to take this concept a step further. If anyone in the comment section realizes that higher or lower frequencies perform best on their phone, drop a comment what model phone you have! Not all speaker cavities are created equal. I’m able to do testing on Apple products myself, but I know for example galaxy s21 ultra needs a far deeper tone to eject water.

It worked with my headphones that had water damage and I couldn’t hear out of one ear but now it is sounding a lot better
