What about oxalate? Blanching/boiling spinach or any green leaves in water is the best way to eat it. The way our grandmothers and mothers do it. Oxalate in the green leaves especially spinach causes kidney stones and boiling leaves in water removes the oxalates in water. That is why our grandmas and mothers used to take out the blanched leaves and throw away the leftover water. Eating in smoothies or raw is not good.

Hello, thanks for giving us more info on spinach hut you're showing it very one-sided. Lutein is not the only good nutrient found in spinach and while it is good that you get more lutein when you smoothie the spinach, you still have to look at all advantages and disadvantages, not focus on one advantage (lutein). For example, one big disadvantage is the presence of significantly higher amounts of oxalic acid in raw spinach compared to cooked spinach.
I understand one short on YouTube is not enough to shine light on all advantages and disadvantages which is why I would recommend making a more in-depth video about it before sharing incomplete information (or at least information with not enough context)

Why don’t you talk about the side effects of spinach like digestion issues, kidney stones (high in oxalate) and prevent you from absorbing some minerals?

He doesn’t know about Oxalate and he needs to study about that. Raw is very bad for people with kidney stone or will develop kidney stone in some cases.

Please speak about the harm spinach does to some people when taken as juice or smoothies. I've got hives on my face and body after consuming smoothie and Dr told me it's coz of spinach and though I've stopped eating the hives keep popping up till date
