Great video! I've faced this too, not everyone can relate to wanting to improve themselves. I also think that it can trigger fear and insecurity; like they might think "If you disapprove of debt and being broke, does that mean you disapprove of me now because I have debt and am broke?". Relationships are tough an it's easy to feel judged when one person decides they want higher standards than the other person. Seems to also happen with wanting to eat healthier/drink less.

Bro...I totally understand where you are coming from. And it gets worse the more you grow and level up your financial legacy! What I learned is that for the 1 or 2 folks that have something negative or shady to say...there are 20 others who really want to learn and truly do better. That is who gets my focus and energy! And to be honest, I could spend (or waste) so much time gripping about what others have that I don't BUT I use that time to listen to what successful people have to say, apply the steps to my situation and watch my financial seeds grow too! So much potential is wasted via self pity or hating on others! Besides, I don't feel bad about all the progress we've made. I am happy that we own a home or can take the kids on a vacation. I am happy to be investing. It was NO fun struggling all the time! Like you said, this took YEARS!! Didn't happen overnight! Long comment but you know I am long winded....LOL.
