Hi Julian, you've put on the good George...always a pleasure. A curious (and beautiful, I would say, Beatles-related) episode. Today I was doing plainclothes surveillance in a department store selling clothes and make-up. I became friends with one of the shop assistants, Anna. At a certain moment, a young girl came in, whom I had seen before. She was wearing a Beatles T-shirt: the one where they cross the road at Abbey Road. She was alone, she looked sad. She was looking at make-up, like last time. Anna, the shop assistant, explained to me that that little girl always goes in there, to talk a bit, because she's always, always alone, it seems like everyone doesn't care about her and when they don't ignore her, it's to make fun of her. It was her birthday...and she was alone! She told me that her name was Daniela, she was about to turn 12...I asked her if she knew the singers on the T-shirt, she said no...Anna and I decided to put them on - connecting with our mobile phones to the stereo - so she could hear them. And then we gave her a little present...(we certainly don't go broke for a few euros). She went away very happy...and so did we...My sweet Lord...I think the good comes back...
