I used the ampro whips alot. My car is 3 meters from my kitchen window. I run the coax from the mag mount through the window to my xiegu g90. Works a treat

I am retired and slowly getting hooked on this hobby.
My gateway was a shortwave receiver I got as a gift from my family.
I now am fooling around with GMRS and have that license and thinking about studying for the US Ham technician license too.
Of course I have been salivating over beginner radio option.
