Thanks for the tips . But don't you think watching Turkish movies is for advanced learners ? I tried it but with no success . Even though I'm Uzbek and Turkish is relatively closer to my language, I couldn't understand the movies . Instead i started watching cartoons which were much easier to understand and learn Turkish phrases and words .

I just wrote down the names of the serials. Ashk Memnu sounds like "ashaq mamnu' ", forbidden passion in Arabic.

Thank you for the advice in this video. I have been learning Lebanese Arabic, and immediately recognized the word "mecnun". There are a lot of words which are similar in the two languages, though they might have acquired a slightly different meaning and pronunciation. Thanks so much for providing the names of a few TV serials. Watching Lebanese "musalsal" is exactly what provided me with the breakthrough to start understanding the conversational language. It's "silsile" in Turkish, just looked it up!
