0:27 The five causes of bruising

In this video, I want to cover the five causes of bruising if you haven’t injured yourself.

There are different names for bruising, such as ecchymosis and contusions. Bruising is basically damaged capillaries.

The five causes of bruising:
1. Blood thinning medications
2. Low calcium (can come from gastric bypass, low vitamin D, or calcium channel blockers)
3. Low vitamin K1 (can come from malabsorption, low bile, liver or kidney problems, or antibiotics)
4. Low vitamin C (vitamin C helps keep the capillaries strong)
5. Low platelets (can come from low vitamin B12, low folate, and certain medications)

Wow Dr. Berg ❤ I've eaten a lot of carbs & sugar all my life. Recently stopped that because of you, and trying to eat salads and grapefruit every day. My spider veins have diminished a lot!!! Used to have bleeding gums sometimes too, and always bruised easily. You're a
And, as I've also learned from you, visible broken capillaries indicates that all the veins and arteries are weakened, so it's important to nourish them and not destroy them with insulin and stress.

I love the information you share!
Please do a video on Hemophilia and/or von Willebrand's disease. I was hoping that this video would touch on that. I know that it's based as a malfunction in the pituitary, and an amino-acid deficiency, but WHY? What are the natural alternatives to dangerous drugs. Thanks in advance. 🙏🏻💛

I’m not sure what my issue is. I easily bruised my whole life, even just from leaning on a countertop. When people tap me to get my attention, it feels like a harsh poke. Painful.

Another reason for bruising can be a leaky gut. My son had terrible bruising in his legs and once I put him on a spor based probiotic his legs cleared up within a week.
