I help a lot of people move to Minnesota from out of state or around the world. If it were me, I'd want to hear about their first hand experience and what was easy/difficult/surprising about making that move - if you're like me, you're in luck! This video was incredibly helpful. Thank to you both. I'm in Florida and have been considering moving for years now, and hearing from someone from TX was great. My ideal area would be near water, have mild summers and lots of hiking areas. It's great to know there's so much to do there in MN.

I originally was looking for somewhere affordable with good internet, and had narrowed down to TN, but they market exploded so much there that I just backed off a bit. I like there's not income tax there. That's a big concern for me as were the winters. I've lived in FL since I was ten years old and came from southern Indiana, so I have little memory of severe winter weather. Now, I'm expanding my search as a remote worker and considering retaining my FL residency and just leaving when it gets too cold. MN and MI seem to be the top contenders. Being a sellers market is great for selling my FL home, but not so much for buying. It's scary to know when to do everything.

Thank you, this was very helpful. I particularly liked how this gentleman found an interim place to stay with dogs until he bought his home. This is something I was worried about.

I was also living in Texas and was told I could move anywhere and work from home. I moved to the Iron Range immediately. The weather is way ncer up here than in the Twin Cities area. Much more pleasant in the summer, and you do get your snow in the winter. This is two big pluses for me. Most of the US has opressive heat in the Summer, not here!

I've been wanting to relocate for years and hopefully I get to do it in the next couple of months. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, moved to TX and been here for almost 6 years and want a change. I've look for jobs and they pay double for the same job I do here. Also, would love to have seasons for the first time in my life. Every time I visit, I never want to leave, so yeah... MN wins for me. :D I'm just scared of driving in the snow. Planning on moving to Bloomington if possible. Thanks for the great videos.
