Do let me know if you've made the move yourself and think I've forgotten yet or better yet, if you have yet to make the move and have some tips for other people getting ready to move over!

About the subscriptions! Cancel them and buy them again when in Canada. Netflix, Spotify, all of them struggle to do it so it's easier to do it this way. You won't loose your history (at least I didn't for those 2)

If you have a Driver's License rememeber to carry and also Driver's Abstract which is very usefull to reciprocate to Canadian License. If you don't then you have to do a complete 2 stage driver conversion and tests as a new driver, which will can be confusing.

Ok, an idea for one of the next videos:
I've heard from almost every person who had emigrated, what the the first apartment they rented was a mess. That happened because newcomers usually are not aware about some local nuances (related to climate, to neighborhoods, etc.) So is there any thing you should be extra aware of while choosing an apartment to rent in Canada? Any pitfalls?

seriously, moving to Canada and the first 2 minutes on Apple subscriptions, buy a car, buy insurance, show your original country license and away you go. I think you missed the point. talk about health insurance or important stuff

Good luck, rents are sky high, real estate is expensive, jobs are hard to get
It could be harder to be able to emigrate here now !!!! 😮

Thanks for the great video! Something my family and I have been considering as Mexican/US citizens is entering Canada with a USCMA/CUSMA work permit. If you guys could do a video on that process it would be super helpful!

I’m into journaling and stationery. And yup, I’m bringing all my old journals even though they’re heavy 😂

What if I don’t have a landlords reference as I’m still living at home because it’s impossible to rent here

This is SO SO IMP. Specially the driving, insurance, subscription & CELL Phone part... unreasonably & unexplainably HIGH. I am from TORONTO moved here from middle east... still yeah

Excellent video and full of some very helpful suggestions. The only thing I question a bit is the cost of the raincoat - where did you go to pay $500 for a raincoat?? LOL. Sport Chek is typically running sales that are very reasonably priced (say under $200 or so). Now Sporting Life on the other hand or MEC - not so much. Perhaps a follow up video on reasonably priced places to shop might be in order?

Someone i know is moving to Canada because of a scandal. I wonder if he will change his name. His parents think that it will solve the problem. I say no fix the problem and clear everyone's name. GOD will balance everything out😊
