Charles unfortunately has a knack for pulling out pole laps from out of nowhere, which contributes to his terrible pole to win ratio - But this time everyone at Ferrari seemed genuinely shocked. The whole team surprised themselves today with a 1-2. Danny Ric P4 as well? What a fun qualy

The most naturally fast driver on the grid. Gets into the car and is fast straight away. No prep. Just the natural feeling. It’s just a pleasure to watch him drive.

This guy is really really special on one lap. 22nd pole, equalling Alonso who is 2x wdc and 15 years older. Impressive. Most of the time the Ferrari doesn't really belong there. We will see tomorrow again. If Ferrari can build him a car which lasts on the longrun for next year and tends to have his preferred characteristics, he will also improve his pole-to-win ratio. Because there is no reason why Charles can't win races, he did in the beginning of 2022 as the Ferrari was competitive also on Sunday.

But this lap is beautiful again and I enjoy to watch Charles driving. The way he shakes out the instability of his Ferrari with his steering wheel in the fast S-es for example which are a weak point of this Ferrari... A real pleasure.

That was a perfect example of extreme precision of placement and not overdriving in the slightest! Result? POLE! Just like Alain Prost used to do it. Looks like he's going slow, but covers the distance in the least amount of time! Amazing!

It's unfortunate that he always has a car that isn't as competitive on race pace. On 1 lap pure pace he's probably the only driver on the grid that can actually beat Verstappen.

Leclerc has the worst luck but has such raw quali performance. Wish ferrari give him well balance car that doesnt eat up tyres like so many ferrari f1 cars

I've never been a Ferrari fan but I am a huge fan of Charles. He is a future champion; already a champion. Keep up the great work Chaz ;-)
