I love this song with all of my being. I truly never thought I would cover it because I didn’t want to ruin it. But I heard it on the radio the other day and I admit, I had a little tear drip down my cheek. So I hopped in the studio the next day and filmed this. It’s the only take where I didn’t have to stop because my feelings were too much to sing well. I hope you enjoy my rendition and I hope you feel something too. I love this cover, this song is truly a masterpiece. Tracy Chapman's lyrics have to be up there literally with the best that ever was in music, this song feels so timeless and always has.
