An UPS is a VERY expensive piece of equipment in many areas due to the cost of manufacturing those big batteries.
If you don't have the money, a sacrificial 15$ surge protector will do just fine in physically protecting your PC to even the worst surges. You just have to be careful with important software updates (ESPECIALLY BIOS updates).

Those no-breakers are a smart buy for people living in areas with frequent outages, but don't feel obligated to buy them over a better CPU or GPU.

Your PSU is literally a built in surge protector. You only need a UPS if you live in areas with unstable electricity, or work with a lot of important data on a daily basis. Please save yourself some money and only buy this if you need it.

MOST of them have USB connectivity. Once you plug it into your PC it recognizes it as a battery, and allows you to set auto-shutdown power limits when it switches to battery. I reccomend shutting down at 100%, as most people are going to overload them and they will only last for like 10 minutes

yeah UPS is on my bucketlist bought one for my mom years ago, been a life saver..., as far as my pc I do have a surge protector on an outlet that blew the mainboard on a smart tv the varasitor blew but not before several voltage regulators got taken out in the process and yet there were no scorch marks that confused me shrugs anyways definitely a wise idea for anyone

I have mine plugged into a UPS, but it draws too much power to work off the battery part, so I have to use the side that is just a fancy surge protector.

As someone in iraq this is pretty much needed for whatever device you have wether its a pc or a console its required
The electricty cuts out every 2 hours for like a minute or two to switch lines
Ive had my ps4 bricked like two or three times (damaged power supply)
