How do you get your misdemeanor charges dismissed hi my name is Elmira Yousufi I'm a criminal defense attorney and in this video we're going to discuss the different ways that you could potentially get your misdemeanor charges dismissed meaning no conviction no record the first thing that you can do is not have a criminal record coming into this if you have never gotten in trouble with the law before you're much more likely to get your misdemeanor charges dismissed in exchange for something else that could be volunteer work that could be therapy that could be taking a class sometimes you may even have the option of putting out your sentencing a year and having the court basically monitor you for that year to see if you're going to get into any more trouble and if you do everything the way that you're supposed to do there's a good chance that you can get your misdemeanor charges dismissed and have no conviction
