This game is further proof that the 1985 Bears were the GREATEST ever single-season team. These were the defending champs that they manhandled

One thing I noticed in this game is opposing players helping each other up from tackles. You don’t see that much today.

The 85 Bears one of the most dominant team I have ever seen I compare them to one of the Steelers teams 70s or 80s .

Payton runs right over Lott on that first TD. How is that any different than Bo Jackson and Bosworth?

The day they stuffed Joe Montanas wisecracking comment (after the Bears playoff loss the year prior wo McMahon) "Bring your offense with next time" DOWN HIS THROAT

Jim McMahon injury allowed the giants to win in 86 and the redskins in 87 and allowed the 49ers become the dinasty they were and Joe Montana the legend he became instead of the bears being a dinasty.

I wasn't a fan of either team back in the day, but if the Bears had McMahon for that 84 Champ game it would have looked just like this game. Steve Fuller had to be one of the worst QBs to ever play the game. Fuller is so far away from what McMahon can bring to the game it's a joke. Plus, a healthy McMahon doesn't give a shit where he plays, if he's healthy he is going to give any defense a tremendous amount of trouble regardless of the venue. In this game, the 9ers had to worry about BOTH the run and the pass this time. It was too much for them. McMahon just brings a certain "energy" to the rest of the team because the offense is actually going to produce with him in there, as opposed to Fuller. People talk about the Miami game, but if the Bears cared more about an undefeated season than winning the Super Bowl they would have started McMahon. McMahon changes the dynamics of a game completely and the outcome is completely different.
