Northumberland. I could recommend a trip up north to anyone once self isolation is over! It was such an incredible roadtrip and I wanted to share it.

I did a road trip of the A1 from start to finish in September last year. One place you must visit in Northumberland is the National Trust Estate called "Cragside." It's probably one of the most picturesque places on their property portfolio.

I was there just in February. Northumberland is my teen home and the most beautiful place to live. Did you visit Berwick on Tweed, the fortified town a mile from the Scottish border? You must have gone through it on your way up to St Abbs or down to Lindisfarne
