I'm 59, one inescapable truth I've seen is that when prices go up during inflationary times or recession, they NEVER go back to the prices they were before. Never. And I've seen the Turdumb family cause this twice in my lifetime.

Because they will NEVER go down now. Once they Jack the prices up, they won’t bring them down. Never have.

Gov raised carbon tax on April 1. Affects transport cost of items that is passed to the retailer, and the retailer passes that cost to consumers by raising the retail price. Not just food, almost on everything else that needs to be transported (which would be most consumer items). M_ain st_ream me_dia however will not report on this.

its because they want to make as much money as possible off of the working class. It was never about inflation.

inflation rates change if you manipulate the data by changing the definition of inflation

Simple.
Continued getting away with the use of covid/labor shortage/supply issues as a reason to charge more.

Higher costs to consumers means more tax money for sock boy to waste! There is enough for everyone’s need, but not enough for everyone’s greed! Gasoline summer mix has less additives and common sense says it should be cheaper, gouging, no shortage in Canada!

Only so many places that have the climate to grow food year round, the population is expanding faster than the food supply.

Bc inflation doesn't really go the other way

Maybe a carbon tax has something to do with it?

In 2040, this will still be a nonsense topic, it has and always will keep going up till we stop multiplying, its that simple, increase supply to shrink demand is the only solution

Food prices are high, due to the War. Ukraine has been coined as the "bread-basket" of the World - it has some of the most fertile soil in the World. 🇺🇲🇬🇧 Depleted Uranium Munitions have forever poisoned the soil. It also causes horrific deformities in newborn children just like in Iraq.

The reply to the title of the vid... "profit."

Keep raising the carbon tax, that would definitely help...

Cut fuel taxes, and inflation will fall. This includes food, and all items transported. Basic economics.
