Canada's inflation rate back on the rise again

After a short period of cooling, Canada's inflation rate is rising once again. Sr. Business Editor Mike Eppel with what items are costing more, and whether the Bank of Canada could take further action to cool the economy.

Currently on vacation in Argentina. Their inflation rose to 110% annually. Prices on everything change every single week. Canada's increased inflation sucks but there are countries far, far worse.

The FED has raised 1/2 percent in the last few months and Canada just sits on their hands while inflation keeps increasing. Of course we will raise rates and probably more all at once so it will be quite a shock to the system.

The reason why inflation is high is due to the interest rate. Raising interest have no longer impact. The cost of mortgage is 1 of the main factor of the inflation. Reduce that, reduce inflation. I know that usually... Raising interest decease inflation, but everything in history is always different.
