The spring sound is a big factor for me. I usually do not notice it or care, but in public it’s the worst! Because turning slower doesn’t make it any quieter.

If you get used to a maglev cube over a spring cube you’re guaranteed to get faster tps but it will be a little less controllable and barely less stable, but initiating each turn takes less force making it easier to turn fast.

there needs to be more research and testing to be done since its a new system. I can't get into any specific things that they could change because I don't know much about the system but in time MoYu and GAN can improve the maglev system

Maglev is better because it doesn’t have a limit on how fast you CAN turn while the springs may be set a limit on how fast you turn

My opinion is yes bc magnets has a longer life span than springs and maglev makes the cube faster, if its not stable and really fast for your liking then just tighten the screw, and removes the annoying spring noises

Im a moyu guy. My main for one handed is the rs3 2020+. Its stability and over all feel work for me in this way. But my main for standard 3x3 is the WRM 2021 meglev. I LOVE IT! The maglev does super well there for me. I cant say much about gan. Ive just never been a gan fan. Theyre a bit to light and they feel very flimsy in my hands. Just me tho. Everyone is different.

The RS3 2021 is literally the exact same cube just with maglev. Any bulkiness you feel is in your head.
