How to roll/bump/push start a car the right way! | Auto vlog 8

This is your quick guide on how to roll/bump/push starting a car, along with tips on what not to do! And, did you know you can do it yourself if you're parking on a hill?

If you've ever had a flat battery, you'll know how annoying it is to wait for somebody to come and help you out. So, the easiest way to fire up the car is to roll start it using a hill or with somebody pushing.

This only works for cars with manual transmissions!

How does the engine actually start though? Does the engaged clutch turn the crankshaft - which gets the pistons moving - then the computer tells the spark plugs "Oi, we're moving - get to work" and then the engine starts?

Nice bro, just one question:in case I need to do it while my car is in our apartment's garage, then there will be limited space due to presence of other cars, then I need to stop the car immediately after it starts.... Car was in 2nd gear, after push from back I release clutch, then to stop the car immediately I need to very quickly bring the gear to neutral and then keep the engine on for the battery to acquire substantial power now keeping the car in handbrake, please tell am I telling right? Equally applicable for a congested road.

Do you need to use the gas pedal, like you would when you start to drive normally? Driving normally, you will stall without gas at the same time.
