Build Azure VM to run resource intense tasks that you can then access from any device.

I show you, step by step, how to utilise Microsoft Azure to create a Virtual machine that can run resource intense programs like video editing software (Davinci resolve and Adobe Premier Pro), I then show you how to connect and use this machine from old, slow computers. Start a project on one computer, pick up exactly where you left it on a different computer or even an Ipad.

Best step-by-step guide I've found to create a VM. I would like to see a video on installing software application and scanner driver. Is it possible for a VM to use a peripheral device (USB attached Scanner) attached to the local PC?

Thank you so much for a detailed and concise tutorial.. I'm a professional and sometimes I have to deal with encoding and decoding files or creating proxies. Now my main machine is old and laptop takes forever, this is such an awesome workaround.

i would probabily use parsec or moonlight for the video stream, much bether quality and response time, also you can set up a blob storage for alocate or files cheaper after you finish using the VM, also you can configure the VM how you would like an them create a Snapshot so you can create a new VM with all the programs that you neep, more fast.

Hi, great explanation, thanks so much! How do you manage to upload your source videos on the VM ? And how do you retrieve back on your local machine the final mounted video? I'm seriously considering the VM approach, but I need to move huge video files (4k videos for 20-30 minutes, that can be several gigabytes)

Thanks for the video, this is a great idea. I've followed the video step by step but I'm facing an issue. Once I select or create a project in davinci Resolve, the davinci window is completely black. I'm able to open some settings if I click on the right spot but the main GUI is just black. Any idea ?
