I've watched Dad's army episode recently where Mainwaring compares Sergeant Wilson with Jack Buchanan. I didn't know who he was. Watching this makes perfect sense as to what he meant. 😂😊

The original lyric, EXTREMELY scandalous back in the day: "I guess I'll have to change my plan, I should have realized there'd be another man, WHY DID I BUY THOSE BLUE PAJAMAS, before the big affair began..?" Known with a nudge and wink as "The Blue Pajama Song"...Became very hush hush, and they changed the lyric, and left the 'nicer' version in this lovely, elegant scene with Buchanan and Astaire. Which I agree is a delight!!
