I used to work at a vet, and we Puerto Rican clients who named their chihuahua coqui. I looked up what a coqui was and knew it was named for the sound it makes. Last week I visited Puerto Rico and heard this sound and thought, “I’ll bet that’s the coqui!”

We have them here in Venezuela as well! We can listen to them at night and the sound is so peaceful, it immediately takes you back home. I teared up when I watched the Daredevil episode because I knew exactly what White Tiger meant when he talked about the coquíes and their song.
