This was the clearest explanation so far that I’ve come across. Thanks for posting! The biggest mental leap for me is keeping the separation of grease pencil dope sheet vs regular dope sheet.

Wait what... You can convert 3d to grease pencil?!?! That's very cool...

The one thing I've seen you didn't cover is if you were drawing those beautiful balls on paper or in another raster drawing app, you can import them and convert images to grease pencil

Thank you for this, Luciano. I am an inexperienced visual artist venturing into Blender. This helps a whole lot. Subbed for more content. Thank you so much

Getting just the outline from a mesh converted to GP is actually already implemented. You even used the correct toggle (Only Seam Edges). Thing is, default objects don't have seams when first generated. That's why it converted with all edges outlined anyway. So if you want an outline, you need to pop into edit mode and alt-select a loop going around the sphere relative to the camera and mark it as a seam (Ctrl-E > Mark Seam). Then Only Seam Edges will actually do something.

The multiframe legit blew my mind though XD

hi, one query I have like we can draw and make any object right the question is we can animate that drawing with a keyframe by pressing the forward arrow but instead can we draw on a single frame and after just wanted the automation of that drawing which made only on a single frame and getting the 2d video animation from that frame in simple words can we extract the animation of grease pencil which drew on a single frame?

That looks cool, thanks for the demonstration, Is there any way we can see the onion skin in object animation mode you are explaining from 9.35 to 11.45 in your video?
