Workflow & Productivity | New Features in Nuendo 13

The new features in Steinberg Nuendo 13 include flexible routing of recording effects returns and the ability to change channel configurations with one click. There are new track import options, track versions for video tracks, and you can replace audio in video by placing an audio export into an existing video file. Direct Offline Processing now lets you easily audition the unprocessed sound, you can bounce empty space as a silent audio file, specify the playback start position, apply vertical zoom with the mouse wheel, there is a new key commands dialog, new project templates for post-production, a new spectral engine for SpectraLayers One and much more.

I wanted to buy a DAW for audio post-production for films, and I bought Cubase 13 Pro. I was not aware of Nuendo, which is designed for post-production. Am I out of luck now? Can't afford the upgrade now.

Control room was a game changes when it came out HOWEVER, it's been YEARS and Steinberg is still limiting us to 4 Cue mixes which is not enough when tracking to most basic rhythm section (Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano, Vocals). Why can't the cue mixes be only limited to the amount of outputs we have? isn't the who idea is to be able to send as many Cue mixes your outputs allow? Steinberg please open the option for more Cue Mixes so we can use the full potential Cubendo has!
