This one is a tearjerker, in the sence that he made 4 snapshots of himself at different times to capture the best ones of himself before he died.
They (the homonculi) were not failures, they were snapshots of him during his most important times so as to show -01 him as he is while in the organization - his best and his worst.
And in the end, for 01 to realize that -11 left these as a way for him to have some sort of closure.

You can't exactly sum up a life in a few thousand words, but he's one of my favorite antagonists of mine and I wanted to give him a proper send-off. i almost cried at this. im amazed by how much they both meant to each other despite their different ideologies and arguments. the execution of showing 05-11's complexity especially got me amazed

This is right up there with Memento Mori as a brilliant humanization of the usually nebulous O5s. Definitely my favorite of the things that Mangg has brought us which were authored by Rounderhouse.
