I got a new level of respect for buggy after learning that he only left Shanks because he didn't want to become Pirate King. Sure, the guy is a coward but I always thought that was why he didn't say he was on Roger's ship; because the Marines would come after him way harder if he did. But it does seem to genuinely be because he respected Roger so much.

And now we know Buggy only gave up because shanks decided he wouldn’t be pirate king. The scene where talks about dreams in the new chapter had me tearing up.

Rayleigh knowing about Buggy's current whereabouts is so sweet. Shanks is hard to avoid knowing about since he is a Yonko but the fact he is knowledgeable of a 15, 000, 000 Beli bounty pirate in the weakest sea show he loves him.

So a little background story but spoiler if you haven't watched Wano:

Shanks and Buggy were indeed on Roger's ship. But when they are heading towards the final island looking for One Piece, Buggy was sick. So Shanks get off the ship and stay in a town with Buggy waiting for him to recover. Roger and others later picked them up after finding One Piece. So Shanks and Buggy also had as much reason/adventure looking for it.

Rayleigh is clearly garps brother and Luffys uncle the way Luffy tearing up his fridge however I do think it’s odd that buggy went to raftel down and SAW the one piece and NEVER MENTIONED IT to luffy at all and anytime the topic comes up luffy completely ignores the fact that buggy can explain the one piece to him.

Thats why i find it hard to believe that Shanks the theory that he will be the villain of this story. Shanks is too good to be a villain. His character jncludes red film just doesnt make sense to me. Maybe he will train Luffy morr advanced Haki or he will be killed by Kurohige ..i guess that make sense
