The Deputy Health Minister told Datuk Mohd Salim Sharif (BN-Jempol) that in the Dewan Rakyat on Thursday, and noted that the inactivated virus vaccine is already at the inactivation stage while the mRNA vaccine is undergoing in vitro transcription.

There's only one obvious reason why they need to develop vaccine locally. Just let the people know how much $$ you will 'need'.

If 90% of people already been vaccinated and assuming the vaccines fully work, and you still have stock. Why try to develop your own local vaccines?
