Malaysia has signed a COVID-19 vaccine deal with AstraZeneca. It has secured 6.4 million doses, on top of an agreement with Pfizer-BioNTech for nearly 13 million doses. This means Malaysia has enough to inoculate 40% of its population. Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said final talks are underway with other vaccine makers, including China's Sinovac and Russia's Gamaleya. The first batch of Pfizer vaccines is expected to arrive in February 2021.
