COVID-19: Vaccination centre in Malaysia shuts after more than 200 workers test positive

Malaysia has been forced to shut a vaccination centre, after more than 200 workers tested positive for COVID-19. The incident comes as the country struggles to contain its biggest outbreak. It has reported 11,000 new cases, its highest daily tally so far.

They should have use mobile clinics to vaccinate people in their respective residential locations. All these mega vaccination centers are a liability. Now we don't know how many people are already infected in this particular center.

This is the risky with anything "mass". Why are there even mass vaccination centres? Isnt it better to have more disseminated vaccination centres? Can distribute the vaccine faster and minimize mass interaction.

Wish all malaysians to stay safe and healthy. From what we see in singapore, there is still chance of getting infected even if you are vaccinated. And only get no to mild symptoms. Not sure if it it reduces risk of transmission to others. safe social distancing is still needed to break the transmission chain.
