Pariser Archives Films, the finest in 8mm entertainment exclusively from Rare Cool Stuff Unltd., proudly presents previously unreleased footage of cabaret-pop singer Bette Midler and her accompanist Barry Manilow.

The footage captures Midler performing at an unknown venue in New York City in 1971, months before her 1972 debut album, "The Divine Miss M." Midler subsequently earned the "Best New Artist" Grammy in 1973.

Alan Pariser (par-EE-zer), manager and primary financial backer of Delaney & Bonnie and Friends, was well-connected in the music world from the late 1960s through the mid-1970s. He often took his 8mm camera along to gigs and filmed his friends in action, with their permission.

The footage was shot on an 8MM camera without sound.

This was actually shot at the 1973 Fall Tour. Is there any more?
