Sector 2 was amazing. You can see that W14 is still a handful. Lewis worked hard for that one.

The crazy part is that the last sector wasn't his personal best. You can see him making steering adjustments mid corner to make sure the car stays on racing line in the last 2 corners. He was on the edge!!

Hamilton has absolutely mastered accelerating out of corners. He knows intuitively when to hit the gas at the earliest possible point where he gets grip and his inputs are so precise. Absolute master. It´s a privilege to watch him and I wish him many more wins and that 9th title.

This could have been his 10-th pole on this track if his DRS didn`t fail last year 😳 His bad luck was insane in 2022. He still recovered to P2, and would have won 100%

It has to be the doctrine and philosophy of straightline braking Sir Lewis' dad drilled into his son's head early into his karting days that he is so fast around here. Just another one of those insane moments where Sir Lewis puts it on pole when that car probably shouldn't have been on pole.
