Introduction to Psychology

It's time to learn about the mind! This is actually not the same as the brain, which we learned about in the biopsychology series. The mind is located in the brain, but it can't quite be reduced to brain function if we wish to describe feelings, desires, and other aspects of human behavior. These phenomena transcend and emerge from brain physiology just the way that biology emerges from chemistry. What is personality? Why do we laugh? What is morality? We will tackle big questions such as these and others in this series. So let's learn some psychology!

I wonder when a school or some agency will reward Dave for his work? I think he's earned a PhD at this point. He has made so many videos, and had so many views. His topics go over so much. It's kind of the same for Sal Khan, and JG the O-Chem tutor. People who make extremely large libraries of educational videos like these deserve recognition.

I see you've upped your after effects game prof! The animations look so smooth! Also noticed that you'll be diving into some of the more Vsauce-y type of content (although you might present it in a more educational kinda way instead of EDUtaining....which, I guess, is the whole point of your channel i.e. delivering bite-sized educational videos of high quality) involving questions such as "Why Do We Laugh" and the like...which is great!

Psychology, Neurology, and mental health information. All are areas that need severe attention and support. Because it would seriously help by understanding how an individual's mind is affecting them. See what past situations have helped or harmed an individual, and eventually learn what each person needs to be effective in their own lives. Tbh, I think everyone should go through some psychiatric evaluation therapy at different points in their lives. Like at age 5, 10, 15, 25, 40, so on. You could cut down on alot of issues by doing this. Am I wrong for thinking this would be a good idea?
