Learn how to set up automatic replies in Outlook Desktop and Outlook on the web for when you go on vacation or when you're out sick.

As full disclosure, I work at Microsoft as a full-time employee.

To set an out of office reply, click on File and select Automatic replies.

Hey Kevin, thank you for your video. Can I have an additional question please? What if just applied for 2 vacations (in different months - May and July), and my boss wants me to include them in my outlook. Sure I was able to include the May one, but is it possible to make it also for July so I dont forget to set it up, or should I wait until the May one is over - turn off that one in Outlook and then after set up the one for July. thank you, Jozef

Hi Kevin, is there a way to program future automatic replies for multiple periods? Ideally, can we add automatic replies to an event in the calendar? Or at least program automatic replies for any period when the status in calendar is out of office? This would make things so much easier when planning holidays or days off in advance. Thanks!

Hi Kevin, thanks for amazing video . i was wondering if ican do these automatic replies for 2 mail inboxes, my own and the one i have access to ( i am the only one who use the second mailbox) ?
Soi can follow the instructions using Outlook application to creat Automatic Reply, and i need to sign in to the web version ( OWA) and creat Automatic Reply for the second inbox ?
