This caps team seems different from last year in all the right ways.

This wasn't NJ's best game by far but as a Devils fan, I'm proud at the fact they battled back after being down 1-3 and again at 3-5. They didn't give up and I respect that. As for the Caps, GG - you guys deserved the win tonight!

As a Caps fan, what makes Wilson so great is that he's not just a tough guy. He gets a lot of points, and lot of them are clutch like tonight's winner. Compare that to someone like Ryan Reaves, who never gets any points.

Before the Devils made it closer to 5-4, the Caps were very close twice going up 6-3 with a puck getting behind Markstrom almost crossing the goal line and a Caps shot after that hitting the inside of the post. I think those should have been included in these highlights, as the Devils were very fortunate twice to not be down by 3 goals!

I was at the game. Proud that the Devils fought back to tie the game. Nico doing captain things. I really wanted him to get a hat trick. OT that was a horrible transition that caught Siegenthaler in a 2 on 1.
