Texas here, I'll be honest, hearing you saying you were hot in July wearing a long sleeve shirt made me laugh, but you probably tolerate the cold way better than we do, so it's just acclimating to different climates. Great comparison vid here thank you, just getting started and excited to dive into the archery world. Thanks for sharing it helped alot.

Did you retune for the warrior's since they are a different arrow diameter? would end up being a bit knock low compared to the RIPs if you didnt change the tune at all.

Louisiana here, yeah the heat requires 3 to 4 wardrobe changes like a Kardashian.

Then end up naked and afraid of the mosquitoes.

I have only recently started out shooting the xbows. You have explained so easily on whole process of arrows from price to skill level.

Tim, I’ve been watching you since you started tagging along with the group n am very impressed with your progress and where you’re at now. You’re knowledgeable, kind, very honest, and your blogs are just simply said-awesome. Thank You! In regard to your test fatigue on a hot day might be a consideration leading to the test outcome? Try running the test back starting with the gold tips first.
Thanks again!

Hey Tim, love the content. Would you consider doing this test again but with mechanicals? I’d be interested to see if there is as big of a difference when using mechanicals. Just a thought. Thanks!

Beginning bow hunter here. This video is extremely informative on what's the real significance for somebody of my skill level with only a few months of practice, which means that at around my comfort level (under 40 yd) there shouldn't be a significant difference between cheap(ish) and expensive arrows.

Hey Tim, thanks for telling us to put a bow in your hands and start shooting a bow (Josh and Tim fireside chat). I ordered a diamond edge 320 from SVA via Amazon. I adjusted the draw weight to 48 lbs and fired my first arrow! Made me feel something, swelling up inside me, was looking for something to keep my old self physically active. I believe that I'll have a better quality of life and I have you to thanks. Also you're channel is growing fast, keep doing what you're doing it's working for us.

Hunting whitetails mostly in swamps and river bottoms in central MA and maaan the Grim Reaper WTS puts em down wicked quick!! I do keep an iron will single bevel in my quiver if I feel hard angle or distance shots but in the 3 years I’ve been using the WTS my swamp dragging excursions have drastically reduced

Thanks for the video! I was wondering if you could do this test these at a shorter distance, say 50 or 60 yards. I'm too nervous/afraid the animal I'm hunting would spook and move with the time it takes an arrow to travel 100 yards. Just a thought on my realistic abilities and respect for the animal. Thanks for your all your hard work and videos, keep 'em comin'!

I’m using 200 grain VPA single bevel and 200 Grain Bloodeagle Valkyrie.

I’m also using a 29” draw APA king Cobra Dg at 90#’s. On the chrono, my 768 grain arrow is 265 fps.

I live in Central Florida and work in the road construction management and it’s been in the mid 90’s for the past couple of months. So suck it up buttercup. I hunt South Carolina and Georgia and use Shwacker and QAD Exodus both 100gr. Love the vids keep up the good work.

Wassup Brother. That was a pretty fair test. Did the wind maybe effect the larger diameter Warriors a little? Just a thought. I'm hunting whitetails this year but haven't decided on what broadhead I want to use. I have somewhat narrowed it down though. For fixed blades, I'm torn between an Iron Will wide single bevel 125gr with bleeders, a VPA Omega 125gr, the Grim Reaper Hades 125gr, or a G5 Montec 125gr. And I'm thinking of trying the Beast broadhead for a mechanical. There are just so many great options. I'm leaning towards the Iron Wills and the VPA's for their reusability and ease of sharpening. The G5 Montec's have a practice broadhead that isn't sharp so that helped them make my list. So I wouldn't be dulling my broadheads during practice. Sorry for the short book for a comment.
