well eBay sells C-Band dishes that are half the price of Tek2000 ($399.00).

not sure why using receiver than a meter, but its yours..a meter is very helpful in my setup, i just tune it up the best what the meter produce results...i used satlink 6933 meter, and find the sat i want by using my phone and using meter Ber level that i know that at 80+ thats where the signal coming from...i just pay attention to transpoders and SNR dbi level...start from 7.7dbi and get it at 12 or 13dbi on SNR, it helps a lot on my setup even though 7 foot cheap digiwave solid it seams not the performing type of dish but i realize its the lnb not focal to the center to the dish and distance is the key how long suppose to be at...i notice the closer i get the better the gain...guess i got the hang of it even though the battery die on my meter so i rely on ac adapter...i just love the sound it produced when it locks in, do you agree.
