Coil wine usually manifests itself at very high fps

Yep you got screwed with the maximum coil whine model along with FE.
Gaming OC model is one the only few that has almost ZERO coil whine. I returned all of them except gaming oc 4090.

Try the coil whine on the Sapphire RX7900XTX like a nest of crickets whilst gaming, that had to go.. Try undervolting so it doesnt hit its power limiter

The way that 12 pin power plug looks it's at risk of melting. They melt when they are either not pressed in all the way so that you can see the pins are in all the way AND that its perfectly square in the socket. The pins have 3 small contacts on 2 sides, and if they are not in all the way, then all the contacts aren't tight and touching. And when crooked then 1 contact on the top will touch and 1 contact on the opposing side of the pin at the bottom will touch leaving 4 contacts either not touching or barely touching making them a high resistance point that creates A LOT of heat very fast. They need to have something that swings over the top of the plug the same way a CPU is held in its socket. This would make sure the plug is in all the way, in square, and won't slowly come out from heat and vibration or from the wire being jiggled and moved around like while doing cable management.
