I pretty much knew what I was doing but I played it safe than sorry and watched this video for a refresher and it made it more easy to understand how to do it. Thank you it took me a good 20+ minutes and I had my irrigation pump running again

This is a great video, thank you for sharing.
I followed these instruction for a pool filter and the motor started working, everything looked perfect. Since the start time was already met, I activated the manual switch, hoping that when the timer would have reach the off time needle, I would set the manual switch to off position and let the automation do the rest.
The motor stopped working when I came back a few hours later. I was not able to make it work afterward. The manual switch works great.
I tried another box, same wiring, motor worked for a certain time then stopped. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong please.

I have a 3 wire setting. 1 white - neutral, Black, and orange. The original unit used the neutral as a ground, the black for the line, and orange for the load. I rewired the setup to the original, because the diagram setup doesn't set the lights for a timing. They just stay on.

The red wire going to the neutral good idea to wrap it with WHITE! electrical tape.

So im installing a gfci where my pump will be plugged in. And the gfci is wired from the breaker.
From the GFCI to timer would be in 1 or 2?

I'm pretty sure I had a black single braided wire going to neutral, a black single braided wire going to line 1, and a red single braided wire to load.
I took it out to replace it and should have taken a picture but didn't.
Is that possible do you think I won't be able to install new one until tmw but don't want to mix up the wiring

Can I use a 20amp breaker for this t101 or does it have to be a 40amp breaker?

So I hope maybe you can help me answer this as I'm kinda stuck
I have your exact same box that runs a sign for my business and it was already installed when I bought the building but whoever run the wires from the sign to the box ran them way short and they were hanging away from the wall in a few places looking like crap so I disconnected and added the same gage wire the way it should be and it looks nice but as i rewired the box I put all wires back where they go but now when the box is on it's fine but when it turns off it throws the breaker can you tell me what I did wrong
Thank you for your time

So in the red and white terminal you also have smaller white wire and next terminal you have another smaller white wire with the feed line what are the smaller white wires?

If you're using red as a neutral, fucking mark it with white, so the guy working after you doesn't get bit.

I thought if you set up pool pump to run at night it would cool your pool water considerably, night air circulating warmer water will eventually cool water way down
