THE CLEANLINESS ON THE TUBA IS AMAZING

You have no idea how actually hard this is to play and they are so talented that it sounds easy. It is not, especially the trumpet parts.

When most people think "Brass", they think loud sharp notes played in a band. This performance shows that Brass can be soft and subtle as wel.

The fact that you need 5 brass players to play this shows how much of a genius you have to be to play organ. Mad respect for organists. Great performance by the bass band, too, of course!

Amazing how with only five brass instruments that they stay true to the original melody, harmony, dynamics, and tempo 100% of the time!

That tuba, though, it makes this rendition. This whole sound is simply fantastic.

In 2017, every week after my gen psych class I would go down the hallway and sit outside the music appreciation class and listen to them play this through the closed door. Idk why they made them listen to it every single week but I never knew the name of it all this time and I loved it. It's lived rent-free in my head for years and I never knew the name. I just hummed the tune into Google and it sent me here. The nostalgia is unreal. What beautiful music 😍

I will always be partial to trombone since it's my instrument, Achilles is superb, but the whole group and rendition is so clean and amazing from every single member. This is how fantastic brass ensembles should balance and sound.

to do this on brasswind instruments is amazing! this is pretty amazing! (I used to play this on the pipeorgan... one of my favourite Bach pieces!)

This is so clean. Perfect matching of articulation, timbre, intonation... everything. Unreal. I can't even tell Coletti is playing C while Ridenour is playing Bb.

I started playing the trumpet in the 4th grade, I'm 64 years old and I still play the trumpet. In my opinion thus is perhaps the most difficult piece of music to learn. I've played this piece numerous times, and I have to keep rehearsing this particular piece, so that I could give it the justice that it deserves.
