🎥 About This Video....
In this video I show how I take photographs indoors with purpose… To make two prints and
frame for indoors. I use a very simple set up with my key light being Window Light and
some DIY for my background and light diffuser!
The camera I used is a Nikon FM3A and the film was Ilford FP4.
I developed the film in D23 developer at Stock! And I slightly UNDER DEVELOPED the film
to make sure I kept my highlights on the Lilly.

Hi, Roger.
I like this way of taking pictures the most.
Still life is really my passion.
I have a small room where I do this and I enjoy it to the fullest.
I never did this with film, I started when I switched to digital.
I had to because at that time I became disabled and walking was not so good anymore.
I do take pictures outside but that is from my disabled scooter.
Great that you present this video, I enjoy it when I see someone working with still-life photography.
And you also deliver beautiful work, friend.
Kind regards from the Netherlands,
Antoine.

Very nice Roger. I used to do a lot of flower photography about 15 years ago and Cala were my favourite flowers. I did and printed a series for a young lady who was supposed to have hug them on the walls of her trendy relaxation place for women. It cost me over a grand and I even had them framed. She then said that she had changed her mind!!! That was the last of my tries to make money out of photography.

Beautiful. Once I harvest my ganga I think I will grow some flowers with my next batch. Hadn't even thought of using the grow tent for that before...duh...LOL

I love natural light. I was practicing portraiture with my Grandsons using just the light from the window. Nothing fancy, just simple portraits and we had fun doing it.

Great results Roger
To be honest I'm not in to flower or plant photography, I'd rather look at the real thing
I know someone who does this in infrared, with interesting results

I miss my micro nikkor 55. It was my most used lens but took a bit of an unfortunate swim a few months ago and I havent shot anything since. I find that I’ve lost all spark/desire to photograph anything at this point. I can’t quite afford another example of the lens at the moment but I’ll get back in eventually.

I know your main theme is shooting with film however, is that digital camera the Nikon Z Fc or does Nikon make just a ZF camera? If it is in fact a Z Fc, how do you like it? I just sent my DSLR/Tele lens in hopes of trading in for either a Nikon Z Fc or a Olympus EM-1 Mark II. My existing gear is Nikon so I have a few manual lenses too shoot with. BTW, I like your still life subject, I think Lilies are a pretty topic for BW! Cheers

1900's school. I prefer a reflector than a side light, though

Respectfully, your 'fill' light is acting as your key light since the daylight is indirect.
