In this quick tip video, it's all about being aware of how to get better footage when working indoors just using natural light.

You will also learn about the silhouette effect. This effect can be achieved by filming into a bright light source and lowing your aperture/exposure so that the subject is just an outline. This can look awesome when you are working with sunsets at just the right time.

A recap: Know that just because you see something the way it is when you setup your camera doesn't mean you can't change it. Look around, where is your light source coming from, can you move the camera to a better spot or can you change the position of the subject to have a nicer angle from the light.

I’m so glad I found this. I filmed my last video with natural light on a cloudy and it looked terrible. I’m going to increase my ISO and move a little closer to the window. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for this video it helps me ! But I have a problem with natural lighting : I film with my LG G3 phone in HD, but there is to much light on me and at the end, we can't see anything ! What would you recommand to do in these cases?
