Which artwork did you like better, the Crayola or the Prismacolor?

I loved both of them, personally for me I liked the crayola tail more and the other drawings hair more <3

Thank you for this comparison. I must admit I'm a convert to cheaper, student grade pencils although I still love my Polychromos. My travel art kit consists of cheap Columbia pencils (which are actually pretty good) and Micador ColouRush pencils, a biro, an old, no brand graphite pencil and a cheap, cartridge paper sketch book. I keep a set of 36 Crayolas on my desk to grab if i need to add colour to a sketch. Out of the two pics above the Prismacolor version has a lot more retina-frying colour but I prefer the more subtle, translucent look of the Crayolas. It feels more realistic and balanced to me.

I prefer the Prisma Color more, because of the soft blending and vibrancy.
But your Crayola turned out really nice! 😊

To be quite honest, I liked the Crayola more. Being a person who likes lighter colors besides black, I thought it was nice that they weren't too pigmented. Of course, Prismacolor blended much nicer, but the Crayola one spoke to me a bit more.

Prismas by far, you are the reason I started using them because as you said in the video the prismas are way more vibrant, more saturated, and lighter than crayolas. That statement alone solidified for me my love for prismas

Tbh, I like the tail more on the crayola, But I like the shading on the prismacolor for the body. So both? (≧∀≦)

I really like the mermaid colored with crayola because it shows more details and I always really like lightly colored pictures/drawings.
