Using Steps To Measure Distance

When it comes to measuring distances, we would recommend the measuring tape we have included in the kit list.

However, if you don't have access to this, you can use the following as a rough but helpful guide.

For the average male with a stride length of 78cm and the average female taking a stride length of 70cm, this would equate to 25 and 28 relaxed walking steps respectively covered for every 20m.

Therefore if setting up your drills without a measuring tape, use the following table as a guide for every 20m you need to mark out:

I am 5ft10 and when I measure it with a tape it’s longer than 25steps hows that possible?
