Lindelof was a great writer for LOST and The Leftovers, 2 properties he basically had free reign over that didn’t have a built in fan base. What he did to Watchmen was atrocious and is a good indication of what he might do to SW if he got his hands on it. Glad he’s not going to get that chance.

Props to Lindelhoff for at least having the stones to admit he wasn't good enough. Almost everyone else they've hired seems to either A. Really think they are good enough even though they're blatantly not, B. Too oblivious to know the difference, or C. know they're hacks but keep going anyway.

I couldn't agree more with all you said. Kennedy and Igor don't share the passion and love for Star Wars we fans have for it. I think they even find it very odd personally and maybe sometimes even shake their heads about it.

I actually am curious if there is any “girl’s can’t be Star Wars fans” stigma around. I know several girls who are fans, but most of them are fellow engineers, who already tend to be nerds anyway. Would be curious to hear what the norm is these days.

At this point Star Wars probably won’t be able to launch a movie successfully. They should stop announcing and wait a couple years to announce a movie so investors and stuff might actually invest in it an take it seriously

The only Star Wars thing I watched after that, was when I bought the final season of Clone Wars on Blu-ray, because I was pretty sure disney was hands off and let Dave Filoni and his team do their own thing.
