LTMs are literally the reason the game used to be so so enjoyable, great video.

In chapter 1 most at least 9/10 of the games I played were ltms, You could play ltms for so long and it would be hard to get bored of them, unlike most creative where you play them for 10 minutes and then switch to another

Here's what Fortnite could do.

Do you guys remember donation boards? They were in Chapter 2 Season 8 and they had 2 options like (Rift-To-Go or Shockwave Launcher) and whichever got the most votes got unvaulted.

What if Fortnite reworked them and made them 'LTM Boards', you'd have 2 options like the donation boards, for example; (High Explosives or One Shot) then whichever got the most votes, would get added to the game for a week, then the boards would reset with 2 new LTMs to pick.

Creative 2.0 is really sick, and people are really using their talents on there, but it can’t compare to the whole map being covered in lava slowly

The thing that made LTMs special is that they were a different way of playing Battle Royale. At its core it's the classic BR format played on the BR map but with a different set of rules (only gold weapons, only snipers, floor is lava, etc.), LTMs were a good break from playing regular BR while still technically playing it, if you know what I mean.

Creative is a different way to play FORTNITE, NOT BATTLE ROYALE, that's why Creative cannot be a full replacement for LTMs...

What makes it worse is the discovery menu promotes the creative knockoff of the LTMs. Solid gold is just thrown out to make everyone shut up about it. I’d love to see 50v50, food fight and teams of 33 return as actual LTMs not creative maps.

the getaway gamemode was so unique to the other gamemodes, thats why everyone liked it. they change the goal of the game but keeping the main mechanics

Another reason I think that contributed to the downfall of LTMs was what replaced battle lab, the Creative Royale system. It is basically the Battle Royale map but creators can edit stuff like HP, Lootpool, and other stuff. It feels like Epic is just saying “let’s have the community make LTMS!”

The Knockback LTM (Super Smash bros styled) was so fun! The collabs these days seem to reflect how anyone can experience anything. the first few times it's exhilirating, then exciting, then fun, then eventually the excitement dries out (in this case because there are no in-game changes, just an item shop cosmetic that not everyone would be interested in.) sure, we have had some additions like the recent ray-gun but that isn't so much as game-changing as an LTM.

the first Thanos LTM was probably about the best PvP event idea Epic had ever produced. There's 1 singular enemy with an extremely powerful toolset at their disposal. all other players have to choose between tactical bush strats and other smart rotation plays, and they have to choose between trucing with smaller threats to take on the thanos player, or picking off any other opponents that might become a threat to achieving the victory royale.

Even options like lootpool changes with the OG weapon pool was fun, being able to pick up and play with weapons that i may have not been so good at using beforehand!

I’ve recently been thinking the same. The main thing I liked about fortnite were the LTms as they were on the main island, was chaotic, was fun and most importantly wasn’t laggy when it handled 20 people

Honestly the Main reason I played fortnite was because of the LTMs, they were always so unique and were so much fun! Creative is good as well but it can’t really compare to spraying at a giant tomato in the food battle LTM.

one shot was my absolute favorite, miss it soooo much. it was the only reason why i played for so long

Epic removing LTM's was one of the worst decisions they ever made with Fortnite!

The storyline seems to be building up to get better as of right now, (but that could end up changing soon, though I hope not) so I would say that no LTM's is probably the biggest problem rn.

50V50 was the ULTIMATE fortnite experience for me. Just massive teams duking it out in that final circle. The crazy forts that were built.

my main thing is there was love, care, and personality put into each and every mode like disco domination, getaway, bounty, food fight, etc. creative maps are either lazy (red vs blue), not even games (roleplay lobbies), copy a format, (box fights), or hop on trends that get exhausted to death (100+ level deathrun, onlyup). old creative maps felt good because there was original thoughts since publishing access was limited, in my opinion cizzorz 3.0 clears every deathrun made in the past 3 years. all of that comes without mentioning how glitchy and unreliable creative is, and without a proper searching feature how difficult finding an actually decent map can be, and if a map stops getting updated for long enough it somehow gets additional glitches. so anyway 50v50 was pretty cool id play again

I don't understand why they don't recycle old ltms every seasons have 3 ltms every season and change it up for the next season
