South Park End of Season 4 - Season 5 Theme Song (4th grade intro)

This was introducing the new animations and how Kyle, Stan, Kenny, and Cartman were going to 4th grade. This theme song started at episode 11 in the 4th season and ended at the end of the 5th season.

Lyrics (season 4-5):
Les: Goin' down to south park gonna have myself a time!
Stan and kyle: Friendly faces everywhere, humble folks without temptation!
Les: goin' down to south park gonna leave my woes behind!
Cartman: ample parking day or night, people spouting howdy neighbour!

this is my fav intro. The green screen explosions, the texts saying “better walking cycles”, and the 3d models are just perfect 💀

Small detail: All the ‘main’ characters (Cartman, Stan etc.) underneath have different types of costumes and variants of themselves from previous episodes but for Timmy it’s just the same wheelchair photo.

"You Love It" Heck yeah I do.

After many years trying to find the live action clip at the end of the man leaping over with an explosion behind him, I finally learned that it was taken from the 1997 movie "Darkdrive". (The scene happens toward the end of the film).


Many have said it was from "Bad Boys", but I never recalled seeing that part at all in that film. The South Park wikia (which originally said the clip was from "Bad Boys") has been fixed to say it's actually from "Darkdrive".

What's funny about this intro, is that when it shows Timmy, the text on top of him says "TIMMY!", which explains that, as Timmy shouts his name mostly every time he appears in the show.

The ending explosion clip is from a film called "Darkdrive." If you watch it, it is 1:13:40 into the movie.

This was the first time I ever saw South Park. After this intro, I just stared at the tv, knowing I was about to see something glorious!
