He's nothing more than a republican PERIOD. Im sick of people covering for him and trying to justify any of it. Its bull. There are NOT a lot of other people on the Dem. side that dont want to get rid of or at LEAST alter the filibuster. This whole segment is not based on what is real and true. So typical of corporate news that has a corporate agenda and wants us to think what THEY think.

I just drove 2400 miles across the US. This country desperately needs new infrastructure.
The GOP proposal of $80 billion a year over 8 years will leave the country in shambles.
We need $2 trillion immediately. I guess that the GOP would rather spend $2 trillion rebuilding Iraq?

He needs to be removed from the Democratic Party

Manchin votes with Republicans more often then not, he needs to re-evaluate his political affiliation.

“The right to vote is fundamental” … Joe Manchin ….. “counting those votes however and preserving traditions from the Jim Crow era like the filibuster”……😐

Good to know where this DINO really stands - on the side of the fascists. Hopefully only for egoistical reasons and not ideological ones.

There is no Bipartisanship to be had on voting when one party is only interested in minimizing it. There is no filibuster or Senate to protect if voting rights are not protected.

He's a collaborator. "Let's unite the country and help feel the fascists and Confederates feel more included." He's the worst.

He is west Virginia version of a democrat. He is going to do this the entire time. He stated because no republicans are going to sign it he wont. Yet will say nothing when republican do it. Not only that he states that protecting the right to vote should not be partisan but we can see republicans restricting that right... what does he expect going to happen republican are going to stop... he is messed up.

The right to vote also means that the vote is not negated by legislatures and others that don’t like the results.

What has he been promised to become a traitor to his party, his voters, and his country?

Instead of "Democratic Senator Joe Manchin", he should be introduced as "the so-called Democratic Senator Joe Manchin".

Manchin: "I think we should give up democracy and allow
Trump to become the dictator he so wants to be."
There you have it, folks.

“Aren’t you being a bit naive?”

Continues to being naive.
